Medieval families used to take baths with the same bath water. The first ones were the men, since they were outside more or something, then the women, then the children, and at last the babies. The water would be so dirty that when they threw the water outside, they might not see the water and the baby would be thrown too. If the baby died, would they just bury it like nothing happened?
