Homophobic people-what do u think about them?

My whole family consists of homophobes when they're in the news they laugh and talk badly about them. I once tried to ask them why and their reasons were absurd.. So how do u feel about homoboic people? Do u also have them in ur family or are some of ur friends homophobic? Are u less "anoyed" at religious people, because they have valid reasons? First of all by the term “phobia” it implies that people are “afraid” to an extent to something, like Arachnophobia ( fear of spiders ), Mysophobia ( fear of germs ), Nyctophobia ( fear of darkness ) etc..
