I didn't know about BL when I was in high school so I didn't have a chance to ship the male classmates (I don't think I would want to too, I didn't even have a single crush XD, it's strange but yeah, I love romance tho), there's a bxb celebrity couple in my country, they are so sweet to each other, one is makeup artist, I started shipping them after I found out about them through my sister, (she likes beauty stuffs), I thought I could never ship rl people but y know, it's fun to stalk them on social media (Lol I sound like like a stalker but really, I just look at their photos and squee)
