its so fkn stupid. They never confirmed Hilichurls were based off Indigenous people, yall (ppl canceling mihoyo) assumed that and ran with it. Hilichurls are humans who were made into that way from being in the abyss. Also I too would love more representation but we only have TWO FKN REGIONS. THEY CANT PULL RANDOM CHARACTERS OUTTA THEIR ASS.
