got fooled into thinking my mom wasn't homophobic as she always seemed to support lgbt+ friends of hers, or when seeing someone get harrassed for being lgbt she'd say things like "that's really sad, they're just people" so I really had my hopes up but when I told her I was gay she called me disgusting and got angry so, same here   1 reply

oh yeah one of my trans friends is so scared to come out to his mom because he is friends with me and she's cool with me being gay, oh yeah, she knows. @my mommaaaa but yes it's weird how parents do this bc in reality if you're okay with strangers/friends you should be even more understanding if it's your own kid and you "love them unconditionally"   reply
