What apps do you use to draw? To make digital pictures is that it? Or draw manga style drawings

I started with the trusty pencil and paper, then made a huge leap to photoshop and a way too expensive drawing tablet, which was a horrible idea (it was terribly expensive and definitely too complicated for a newb at digital art like me).
