I thought shounen means "boy" so boy's love. So I though it was like mlm, not necessarily a little boy. Cause what I've seen from the genre is it's mlm without the smut. And isn't the one with underage ones shotacon? So is this meaning of Shounen ai like a mistranslation from japanese to english or something?
