why do people continue to support characters that rape their love interest in bls?

Honestly it’s so sad how normalized rape and abuse is in bls, it’s also so disappointing seeing people defend the shit character simply bc he’s “attractive” there’s so many bls with rape in it because people refuse to stop reading the ones with rape in it. smh like consent is segsy.
