I see many comments saying "I read yaoi because the girls in shoujo are so annoying" or a variant thereof. Which is fine; I don't care for them either (I haven't even read any non-yuri shoujo manga). However, what does bother me are people saying that women characters in general are worse than the male characters in anime.
