Usually if you see wonky translations, it’s either a non native English speaker trying their best or a newbie in the field.... also trying their best. My best advice is if bad translations annoy you, then offer to PR (proofread) for whoever’s scanning.
It helps them, the audience gets a better reading experience, and you’ll probably get acc......
