My first yaoi

My first yaoi anime/manga was Okane Ga Nai/No Money about four years ago (I was in 7th grade if I remember right.) At the time I thought it was wonderful, and I was in love with Ayase. Now, though, looking back, the anatomy is horrendous and the relationship dynamics are horrible. Like, seriously, Ayase falls for Kanou even though Kanou is downright abusive? And he doesn't even work up to being abusive, he's like that right away! If it was a gradual progression it'd make sense, since that's how abusive relationships are, but Ayase should've been out the door as soon as the drugs in his system wore off and he was able to walk again, regardless of whether or not he was Kanou's "property." And Kanou fell in love with Ayase because Ayase was nice to him ONCE? That's not how it works.

Sadly, a good amount of yaoi is like this. Just gotta live with it, I guess. Junko and Mio Junta have yet to disappoint when it comes to leaving that stuff behind, though.
