Have you ever suspected that you have Maladaptive Daydreaming?

I thought that’s just a having a very active imagination i mean I do laugh if their funny dreams and then my dog just looks at me like tf so maybe it’s not a good thing idk   reply

I donno whether I have it or not I do daydream, sometimes when I study n get a thought abt something interesting I start weaving it like even though I know its not real I fee l like OK I will study once I complete thinking abt it, I do talk to myself..but I didn't observe whether I talk while daydreaming.. I never suspected, I have confirmed it without even going to a professional lol. In fact, it's so bad, that I daydream even while dreaming in my sleep.   reply

To be honest, the name felt familiar but I had no idea what it was so I had to look it up. And maybe I did have it?? I'm mostly confused. I do have it actually, I would spend HOURS roaming around the house (I don't even realize I was roaming until my mom snaps me back) daydreaming and increasing the plotline of a story I created ever since I was 7. At first, I thought I was just being very imaginative due to reading books but then I began to daydream more, started talking to myself (......   reply
