Both are inexcusable, but I think the thing that bothers me personally the most is... hmm. Actually they both do. There is no way I can choose because no matter what, they both cause emotional distress/trauma.
This sounds strange, but if I had to choose between the two I'd choose getting cheated on.
I've lost my trust in people long ago after all......
