LGBT Folks - How do you feel about BL?

I’m a female Pansexual who found manga through anime, bless Junjou Romantica Although some of the stories are so heartwarming, I learnt very early on that it’s far from realistic. I find it quite offensive and annoying at times with how they portray LGBTQ+ in BL, with the heavy “uke” and “seme” and with most stories having characters saying “no” during sex scenes and ignored.. These aspects are damaging, not forgetting that many characters deny their sexuality which can cause others to think negatively about their own sexuality. Although in return that struggle could help others through similar experiences.

Plus, women always seem to be portrayed negatively? Where’s the good female representation? Give me some more lesbians!
