Hiyya~ I'm currently in intermediate level, and i would say that what I'm doing right now is focusing on getting familiar with the words!
i read some japanese books, (start from manga --> novel --> newspaper) to improve my reading and watching some movie to improve my pronunciation.
then, i tried to translate it into english at the same pace. you......
