Tbh you just have to chalk it up to classic damsel in distress disorder and bad writing- They don't know how to make their male leads seem interesting or even barely worth the amazing female lead they've written so the only way they can make them seem even somewhat presentable is by completing destroying any competency the female lead even had. �......
