I would like to ask the artists or just people who draw really well
I wanna know how you guys started on drawing and how you slowly improved. Like where or how did you start working on improving your skills and what do you think of your art now? (If you have a picture of ur drawings I would like to see them pls)

Hi, art student here. Honestly start out with basic shapes. Get your proportions right, choose a simple perspective view. Master that and start shading basic shapes. Move on to shadows and master lighting, all black and white first. Try more complex perspective views. Next try real world objects like kitchenware or fruits. Use all you've learnt so ...... reply
I drew a lot all through my school years, but then I switched to digital about 6 or 7 years ago. I wasn’t all that good in the beginning so I traced over pictures of models until I was comfortable enough with anatomy to go off and mess around with proportions.
