How to solve a yaoi addiction?

Hi srry if this seems weird but i srsly need help. Im addicted to yaoi. I spend all day reading it instead of doing my work, eating, showering, sleeping, etc. i get super immersed in the stories and it's kinda like the only thing worth living for at this point... It's gotten so bad that whenever I see 2 men irl all i can think of is yaoi... ugh.. this is so embarrassing .. ╥﹏╥ I tried to block my go-to yaoi websites but i couldn't last more then 10 minutes. Any tips?

im rlly concerned bc this raises a lot of red flags esp. that u start thinking of yaoi when u see men irl... and ur also neglecting ur basic needs and hygiene. to cure addiction, u must slowly cut down reading and u need to resist when the urge comes. if u dont fight it then u wont be able to lessen it or stop. the only one who can help urself at t...... reply

Play a game so you can get addicted to that instead. But if this actually serious, do what bureau of investigation said and slowly tone it down, bad habits die hard so don’t expect to get rid of the addiction right away, do it slowly its more effective. And maybe also try out other genres bc that mindset can be a downfall. reply

Find a hobby: drawing, reading novels, baking, etc. You don’t necessarily have to be good at it, just have fun (find something that distracts you). Or try reading manga from the gender bender genre, those manga are always interesting (or extremely bad). reply

Maybe start doing things that you used to do daily or you would want to do, like me. I'm not that addicted to yaoi, I haven't been on this website for awhile. I also want to stop reading yaoi (I would still read but not that much) so I just play genshin impact, read horror manga, watch tiktoks and minecraft streamers in my freetime.
