I was 9. I don't have anything scary. Just told my mom that I was bleeding down there and she gave me a pad and taught me how to use it. She also taught me everything about periods and the reproductive system and also told me what kind of infections or conditions you can have. Like pcos, yeast infection or thrush. Which can affect your period.
