Can someone explain to me why seeing an animal die/get hurt in a movie is way sadder than a person?

I think it’s because they have nothing to do with their cause of death most of the time (I’m talking about non natural deaths seen in movies)? Because humans destructive and ugly in appearance and personality while animals are pure and act on instinct alone. We humans deserve to die :D   reply
