I'm shy, i need some tips

Hi! So I've been a fan of anime and manga for some time now and the thing is, I literally have no one to talk to about it, I don't know anyone that also watches or reads it..
I see a loooot of people in here with the same or similar preferences as me and I kinda want to be friend but I'm so shy and anxious, I end up not saying a word.. How do I overcome this? Have you ever been through the same..? And how did you overcome it? Pls help me, I just wanna talk, give me some tips.. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

Hi :) I can be shy at times and it was especially bad while I was at school (cos kids are jerks) and now I'm 23 and work in a hotel as a receptionist so I constantly interact with people now. My advice is; Think up talking points. think of a few conversation starters for when you meet people for the first time and then hope for a conversation to...... 1 reply
