Pretty homophobic. The ml always go through "Am I gay" phase as if bi people doesnt exist. Then will proceed to have a talk with a guy friend and try to confirm it. The mc on the other hand, will deny his feelings when its harbored and always use the excuse "we're both guys". I don’t like gender-bender stories. They are just homophobic, implying that sexuality is a concept of imagination. The attraction to the same gender is only tolerated or accepted if in the end, the gender bent character turns out to be of the opposite sex. It’s plainly stupid. its pretty okay, sometimes it can be problematic, but when the story's done right, its enjoyable to read. the genre also has a lot of potential to be diverse, but most authors are too lazy to think of a different plot, so its kinda disappointing   reply

I like the idea but hate when it isn't made specifically clear what to expect. This is more for the "transform" mangas that have the MC turn into the opposite gender for whatever reason but I have read a few that look like they are borderline BL but it's nothing more than queer bait.
