normalize fwop and plop

am i the only one who feel somehow annoyed when someone commented on a yaoi/bl manga using the term “the seme” or “the uke”?? why do i think that it’s such a mediocre names to call out the characters lol. why cant y’all just use ‘the penetrator’ and ‘the penetrated’, ‘the thruster and thrusted’. ‘the plop and fwop’. ‘the ram ram and squelch squelch’. like be creative y’all
