I had to go to therapy about two years ago and my therapist was Christian and kept saying how depression is a sin and being in the lgbtq community is a sin and shit. She made me cry almost every time I went there and my mom got me a new therapist not too long after 2 reply
i dont really have a trauma but the thing that amuses me the most is the fact that religious people are homophobic even though they always repeat that we must love and respect each other like we get is but how hypocritical can they be? 2 reply
I wouldn’t say it’s trauma but I’ve had bad experiences. My parents and family are catholic and it’s a really toxic environment at the church, women are always the ones singled out , the priest would say things like “women should not go into church looking like whores.” My aunts and uncles are always preaching about how it’s a sin to ...... reply
