Yaoi Shocked me to the Core

It was around middle school when I came across my first yaoi. Honestly, I didn't know it existed...well, I didn't know Gay and Lesbian relationships existed. Anyways, after walking straight from school to the library, I was pretty exhausted and I only wanted to read. So I just sat at a chair and under the seat was a manga, I thought "hey. This is convenient" and flipped the book open to the first page. BAM! There it was !! Two manga males entwined in some hardcore s*x. My eyes were wide open and so was the book, even the old librarian lady was able to snag a look at what I was reading. But my reaction stained my reputation at that library for the rest of my life, I slammed the book shut, threw it away from me and ran out the door and probably like 2 kilometers away from the building. >stamina is a no go.<
And I'm gonna say, I was completely traumatized. The only manga I've ever come across were the light hearted shoujo, I was on that full moon wo sagshite buzz. But then during my obssession with full moons sound track, eternal snow on youtube. I came across a video titled : "Best Yaoi Confessions."
I can seriously say that the expression 'curiosity killed the cat' was quite similar to what happened to me during that situation but more on the lines of 'Curiosity f**ked up my mind' . The video had me hooked because I was gushing over how intense the love scenes seemed more compared to the shoujo ones I was accustomed to. And the one scene in that video that gave birth to that fujoshi egg in my inner being at the age of 12 was that confession made by Hiroki to nowaki [junjou egoist.] In the library. [ well they kinda had an argument but yeah. You get me, that scene was sexy in my eyes lol ] and since that video I worked up the courage to pick my balls up and explore the yaoi genre. Which practically killed all my normal brain cells along the way, like seriously. Back then, I didn't know what a gay or lesbian relationship looked like and now.. O.O i actually pant over it like a crazed fool. Well there's my experience. ^~^
