I think with the right attitude you can be free of all those things (heck, you can even be rid of periods with certain contraceptives). You just have to have a strong will and not let yourself be bothered by what other people think, be proud of being yourself (not saying wanting to be a guy is wrong, but if those are your only reasons, you don't need to be a guy to avoid them). Sadly, the gossiping happens no matter if you're a guy or a girl, and if your attitude or strength of will doesn't change [despite becoming a guy], that won't change either.
