I've heard some of these but "don't cry" was only said to me more recently when I was growing up mom used to say "you don't cry blood" and just leave. If did something to disappoint her she wouldn't say anything, she would just give me a very sad look and if I miss behaved she would dump cold water on me.
"finances aren't your business" never heard......
