how is bl better or more interesting than gl and sl??

If anyone says they're reading bl because they "like the plots better" or "they don't like x about SL" they either have absolutely zero reading comprehension ability or they're lying. BL does literally every single trope and bullshit thing that people don't like SL for but since it's two guys and there's no female lead, no one seems to notice and/o......   reply

Nope, not based on assumption. It's based on preference. In my 10+ years of reading stories of any kind, I have found BL have the best stories and best characters (unique ones as well). Of course there are some to be found outside of BL too, but the vast majority of well-written stories I have read in my years are found in the BL genre. Stories th......   reply

It’s not lol, I’ve read plenty of sl and gl and bl are not necessarily better. There is a LOT of crap in bl, like a lot, but in like every genre there are gems, with great stories, great developments, great characters, great chemistry and interactions. I just read whatever summary or cover pic catches my eye doesn't matter what genre it is also if you're talking about just yaoi and not shonen-ai I think its because the smut in it is written much better than in smutty sl not sure about shonen-ai and shojo ai tho since its basically the same thing as sl just same-sex couples   1 reply
