I'm not genderfluid so I'm not saying this from first hand experience, but from how my genderfluid friends explain and present themselves it's not so much about the clothing and outward appearance for them as much as how they feel gender-wise that day. On days when they feel more masculine they might wear clothes that are designed for men, and on ......   1 reply

Hi I'm genderfluid! I don't know where you got that information but its all wrong! Lets throw out the stereotypes and start from the bottom~ Genderfluid is a type of non-binary identity. For me, my gender flows up and down the gender spectrum. There are days where I am masc, femme or neutral. These periods usually last between 1-8 days. It's like ......   3 reply

Well, you succeeded in triggering the History Major and be warned that this comment is long and letters of words are being sent to the next line: My understanding is that, in a society where certain clothing is simply gendered or geared towards one sex or the other, being genderfluid shouldn't be an issue and it really ain't no one's business what......   reply

lol don't worry, if people call you an idiot and jackass then remember that you're not alone. I completely agree with what you said. Let's look at drag queens for example: they are guys who like to dress up in clothes considered female by society. That doesn't actually mean they are genderfluid though, it just something they do for fun. And even if......   2 reply

It's not true though. Genderfluid people don't have to agree with stereotypical views on clothes (see House Of Alexander in Tumblr for reference), in fact, they usually don't. However, they don't feel like they belong to one of the typically assigned genders at birth (m or f) and thus they aren't transexual either (since transexual women ARE women ......   1 reply

I think I am genderfluid? I don't really like to put words on to it because?? I don't need words to be who I am and I don't like to be categorized.. At all. In anything. But I identify myself as female or male whenever I feel like it. It can change in minutes. I begin a conversation identifying me as a male and end it identifying me as a female. A......   reply

I'm genderfluid and I don't do this at all. For example, I identified as masculine the other day but still wore a crop-top. I hate genderroles so I just do what I'm comfortable with. Some days that might mean that I wear so labeled 'masculine' clothing but that doesn't mean that I identify as masc that day. I guess it's different for anyone. I don'......   reply

i think people should just ignore what people want to be. if you saw two people who are kissing with the same gender would you ignore it just like a straight couple? it would be the same thing so i think that we should all just agree with it and not question or be stare and be offensive.   reply
