using the term "bl"

is it bad? is it fetishy?

today, in a server, i promoted my webtoon. i used the words "wholesome bl romance", and was called a fujoshi. i didn't understand what i was doing wrong, and a bunch of people came for me, telling me i was a fetishizer and a fujoshi for using the term bl to label my webtoon.

i just want to know what you guys think? am i a fujoshi and fetishizer for me, being a bisexual woman, to use the term bl with my webtoon? on webtoon, the genres are romance and school, and the words bl are in the icon.

i dont know what to think anymore.
