6 years age gap
ok so I overheard my sister's best friend (18) saying that her boyfriend was 24 and now all I can think about whether this is wrong or not--
because like, my sister best friend could be idk freshman at highschool (15) and the boyfriend would probably already be at a college (21) at the same year, but like,,,,at the same time, they both technically dated when they were adults,,,,,
Ive been stressing out because of this shit for hours but I still can't get it off my head
what are your guys opinions on this?
i think it's weird a grown man went for an 18yo considering 18 is still pretty immature & there might be a difference in experience, but i don't think it's terrible. 15 and 18 are very, very apart in maturity since it's a pretty big developmental leap. i say this as an 18yo that has listened to hs freshmen speak ever

I don't think there is anything wrong as long as they are both adults. Now if they were doing things at the time she was a minor, that's another story.

If they met when she was an adult and he doesn't have a position of power over her (ex:her boss) then it's all good.. age gaps aren't inherently bad guys..

But I have to say age different has a greater impact if you are younger, so 15 and 21 would be different.
But anyway it is to decide to the people involved if they are ok with it.

imo, i think it depends on the ppl in the relationship, though i'd be cautious given how young she is?
but tbh, i do personally hold precautionary thoughts for ppl who's had experience as an adult + setting up their life and career, interacting with someone who just came out of high school and was *literally* just legally a kid. like they're in su......
