Real life shipping
I don't know if it's just me but it really bothers me when I see people shipping real life couples or when someone mentions that they are gay or have a gay friend and the comments are: "Oh my god I want to be your friend!" or "You're so lucky to get to see real life yaoi!" It gets really annoying because seriously, whether you're gay or not you're a human being. Sometimes I feel like the people that say these things are making a spectacle out of it. It shouldn't matter if someone is gay or not, who they are as a person is what matters. And then when people ship two real life people (I'm not counting live-action shows because those are still fantasy, I mean actual real people) it's just as frustrating because I feel like if they knew about it, it would make them overly self-conscience about how they treated each other whether they were a couple or just good friends. It's really none of anyone's business and frankly I think it's absurd and disrespectful. That's just my opinion though.

To be honest I think that you're right, and it makes me feel guilty for the one real life ship that I actually do have. More often than not, I feel guilty about it though because I care about them so much as people despite not knowing them personally since they're famous. I don't want to make them self conscience about how they treat each other and I don't want to be disrespectful towards them. To me, I simply think that if they DID decide to become a couple, that they would look cute together. I'm not about flooding the internet with my beliefs on their personal relationship because I agree it's none of my business in the first place and I don't know why I'm feeling the need to justify myself to you I'm sorry. ><
I don't think you should feel bad for thinking they would be good together, as long as you are, like you said, respectful about it and not sharing your filthy thoughts about them with other people, esp not online where these people could see it somehow then it's all good.
