So uhhh I’ve had my rook piercing for almost a year and it’s still swollen and sensitive to movement. When I first got it I didn’t do a good job of cleaning it and I had issues with it for a bit bc of that. Ever since July 2020 I’ve been trying my best to remember to clean it twice a day. I even went to a piercer to get it removed in October and he said it was almost all the way healed and suspected the swelling was from the metal the earring was made of and switched it to a hypoallergenic metal + I’ve been cleaning it twice a day w/ contact solution (it’s saline and he suggested it). It’s still swollen and sensitive and I’m wondering if I should just wait bc they take a while and mine is just fucked up from the lack of cleaning and making it take way longer, or if I should just remove it bc my ear just doesn’t like it and won’t accept it. If no one has an answer then oh well, just thought it was worth a shot asking here.
Umm- I used to watch the Pimple Popper and everything and it honestly sounds like you have a keloid or an infection. I'd get it looked at before it gets worse 1 reply
