As the title says, i’m getting admitted (they think i have BPD/am bipolar) and i really want to hear some advice or, like experiences. i am pretty nervous so yeah... anything is appreciated! i have also been in the waiting room for two days:)))))
mine didn’t do anything for me, it’s just like a rehabilitation center to make sure you won’t hurt yourself or others before they let u out in the public again. It really doesn’t help, depending on how long you stay it’ll be different for everyone, people are constantly in and out and it’s kinda chaotic. Though i will say, i’ve met so...... reply
if they let u, it might help to bring something to comfort (or ask someone from home to bring u stuff) u while fending off boredom like a deck of cards, maybe a rubik's cube, book, a stuff toy or even a coin..
also if u feel comfortable enough to talk to your parents or relative or friends or someone from this site then that might help u identify ...... reply

What do pysch wards do though? Im pretty sure when you have a mental illness its from trauma and i thought pysch wards for people who had a mental illness but they also commited a crime to be there? Idk man im confused, i hope everything goes well for you. reply
