I have a side shave, 3/4ths of my hair is down to my shoulder blades, and the other side is a few centimeters long. I've had short hair in the past, and I really love the shaved on the sides, longer at the top with curls look. And since I could see myself doing that, I don't think shaving it ALL off would be a big issue for me either.
