Didn't work for me, but I guess it's still worth it.

It started with us being just normal friends and it stayed like that until we met the first time. We got together shortly after. We did our best to try and meet as often as we could, and for a bit we were doing ok. We were (or so I thought) ready to go through the stress of living far from each other, and after 2 years of hanging on I thought it was actually possible.
Well, we spent the usual month together in december, and from there something didn't go right. As soon as she got back she started not being able to handle being far away. She started not trusting me, feeling left out and acting like it wasn't ''enough'' anymore. From there she just got worse no matter what I tried, and our relationship deteriorated. I still think about her, and how things could have gone differently. I find myself thinking ''We were almost there, weren't we?'' Well, I can't say for sure it was the distance, maybe it was just that she got tired. But it sure was one more obstacle to face.
Still, I don't regret it. I really loved her, and she will always be a part of me.
Long story short...It's hard. It's very possible that it won't work. Yet, instead of giving up without trying, isn't it better to just go for it?
We don't always have the leisure to find our special person right outside our door. Sucks, but sometimes you just gotta work for it.
