ADVICE - I need advice as a new teacher going on placement soon
So I figured there's gonna be a bunch of students here haha... I'm currently training to be a teacher but I'm struggling a bit with classroom management because I'm a pretty meek small Asian female. I went to a school where all the students were pretty well behaved (did a pretty hard test to get into) but public schools are an entirely different matter. So, does anyone have advice for controlling a classroom (co ed public school). I learnt a few methods in uni and watching other teachers but I'd love to have more advice. What have you seen your teachers do which has worked? How would you stop kids from playing on their phones? Not handing in homework? I've been working on speaking louder and being more confident but I'd love more tips because I want to do my best haha :) !
Hmm well my teacher ask if they needed help also they have at least talk when they are in break rooms and always makes sure the class is up not alsleep make sure they use their phones when the class is over here is my tips since my teacher always does this.(▰˘◡˘▰) reply
Hi! Small meek female asian here. I currently study in a science-orientated public school. From my experience, my batch is pretty tame. We do have some drama that goes around (Some girl and her friends once talked crap about her homeroom professor. The post got popular and several teachers saw it.) but we're usually ok during class.

Don't know if this is gonna help..
I had a tcher in 8th grade and all the students trusted her a lot
- she nevr had any weird stereotypes between boys and girls (like guys are more trouble than girls, and all girls are weak or meek .... this stereotype is so common that they end up acting accordingly)
-She lets us play games in class, obliviousl...... 2 reply
