Am i depressed?

i’m always so lonely inside my mind. i have friends, family, i have both my parents but i’m always so depressed. i feel no joy being around them, if i do it only lasts for a short period of time. i feel so useless, that i’m doing nothing in my life for me. i just live to live, i only live to not cause any problems for my family. i wish i could describe how i feel in depth, but i don’t know how to explain it. hopefully it’s just that i’m seeking attention

I’m just gonna say that depression is also caused by the lack of some chemicals in your body...you can have a perfect life and still be depressed....the other comments are right, don’t be ashamed of getting support from a therapist/psychiatrist. I send you some love ️️️️ reply

Yay your in your first step of depression it going get worst yay. seek therapy If not I don’t what to tell you it going get worst trust me I have depression it keeps getting worse.I almost kill myself I feel like I’m nothing yay... reply

Sure sounds like it... Try and seek help okay? Depression's an ilness, you can't do nothing about it and hope it goes away, it's only gonna hurt you more and it can be fatal. reply

I would say this is the start of what depression could be. If you’re not sure please seek a therapist. Just because you’re showing several symptoms it would also be possible that you will not be diagnosed as depressed since you may be at a point where you are only beginning to go to depression.
