I went through a kinda emo phase. I had a straight hair phase where I would straighten my hair everyday and hated my naturally wavy hair. Surprisingly enough I never had a “not like other girls” or “hating pink” phase. I’ve always hated y/n and self insert fan fic so I think that may have saved me from it.
