japanese-speaking korean-american
I'm Korean, so I grew up just naturally learning Korean and English. However, at a young age, I also started picking up Japanese because my grandmother was around for when the Japanese had control in Korea. As a result, she was taught Japanese when she was little and thennnn it got to me. Of course my English is my most comfortable language, but my Korean and Japanese are pretty much at the same level and you can find me just yelling out Asian things if I get mad haha.
I also attempted at one point to learn Swedish, so I'm able to understand a little and use devices set in Swedish, but that's about it. I did take the required 4yrs of Spanish in hs and then another semester of French in college. Did it help? Not really xD I remember maybe the first two years worth of Spanish. Don't tell me to conjugate verbs in the past tense cause I do not remember AT ALLLL

I'm also Korean(half Korean half white) and live in the states. My(maternal) grandparents also knew how to speak Japanese via Japan's annexation of Korea(as Korea was one and there was no North or South Korea, during the 35-year occupation).
Sorry for the super late reply!
