It would be too long to list what could be the reasons for everyone, but here some of my input:
I think Yuri will be a more interesting genre (to me at least) in 4-5 years. The yuri genre is younger than the yaoi one (it started later on you can make a quick research if interested), hence the readership is smaller and the number of published works......
