If you want to confess, do it face-to-face. It will show your sincerity. It's better to confess early and be rejected rather than not confessing at all as you might regret it in the future. I'm not saying that you will surely be rejected since I don't know both of you, but I'm weighing the pros and cons here. If he/she likes you back then it's good......
