Never cried while reading manga, I just perhaps have a strong sense of reality and hardly ever cry anyways. If it gets too soppy I usually just switch manga, it's such a waste of money to pay to cry hehehe. I'll pay for the giggles, hot burns and heartstring tugs! :D
