To some stories rape can be a plot point for the characters trauma or other stuff. But unnecessary rape and romantisized rape+brushed off rape is dumb. Like a character is almost assaulted by a group of guys wanting to rape her (almost in all romance manga) then the male lead saves her and jippy kay yay the day is saved. They brush ......
