Most people are not bothered by this because:
1. They are not dumb and can tell the difference between fantasy and reality, even young people. And
2. 11-12-year-olds should not even be "reading this shit." That is why the mangaka (manga artist), their publishers and even the scanlators put 18+ warnings on them, yet they are conveniently ignored......

I sometimes like to read the rape tag lol but i only enjoyed the image or stories sometimes so i don't really feel bad or anything (except if the story kinda twisted). cause it's just drawings and words so yeah :'D
I wish people stop taking this personally cause i mean it's just drawings and you can always just stop reading if you don't like it? OwO)b
In japan they R-18 books are free to look at ... even if ur underaged so idk... some just like it? and some take it seriously and do it so ... well human psychological stuff is not my forte.
Imma just be at my room enjoying yaois and cats and bunnies pictures. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
I hear what you're saying. And if we're being honest here, all R-18 books are free to look at everywhere (not just Japan) as no one can technically stop you from viewing them at some point, but the R-18 tag is the warning.Whether it is obeyed or not is completely up to the reader.
I don't think there's anything wrong with enjoying manga with rape in it, it's just fiction. But idc, I just don't like it and will stop cold turkey when I encounter it in stuff. To each his/her own, right? ^__^ Also, Japanese is my second language. I'm pretty aware of many of the social norms there. There are some elementary school kids who read hentai in public and even start collecting porn at a young age sometimes, and no one ever says anything. Heck, some hentai artists draw there manga in the house where even their wives and children stay. LOL
And basically, that's just my whole point, it's fiction. People can't really be running around blaming crime on a comic, movie and/or game. That's pretty ridiculous, tbh.
(=・ω・=)b i agree with u <3
