this was 2 yrs ago. my friend was so worried that her bf is cheating on her but whenever she confronts him, hes dodgy and tells her that those are all jut unnecessary worries. but my friend can tell he was lying so she asked me to catfish him. to avoid detection, i asked a friend of mine (friend b) whos not related to my other friend (friend a - the one with bf) if i could use her photos IF NECESSARY. she likes to cosplay so she have a lot of wig and sent me one of those where its just a casual photo

my friend (friend a) wants to know how far her bf would go in cheating and long story short, the catfishing worked (it was on twitter, we talked thru dms)

he said in dms that he recently broke up w his gf (wc is FALSE, theyre still tgt this time) and is depressed abt it, how shes so controlling, possessive, nagging, that hes so tired of her. ofc i took screenshot of all that and sent it to my friend (friend a) and after that, she decided to finally break up w him. so i told her, "hey i think itd be a great idea to tell him im catfishing him and im a guy just for the lols" and she said yeah so we could make fun of him. so yea when i dmed him that i have sth to tell him, he was a bit excited. probs thought i was gunna sext him or sth lmaoo but du-dun! i told him the truth but omitting the part that im his gfs friend and its her gfs plan. i made up a story that i thought hes hot (hes not) and since hes straight, its better to test the waters while pretending to be a girl

i was waiting for his response, i cant stop smiling on my phone and eager to send a screenshot to my friend if he was mad or pissed but boi oh boi he said HES FINE W IT SLJA;KFLKLSKLDJG and i was so lost. he told me hes actually bi and felt like hes getting tired of girls so he wants to date guys but he doesnt know how to go on with that so when a pretty "girl" (thats me catfishing him) chat him up, he went w the flow thinking its a good distraction sofjslfjs
