I already did this and no it's not a stupid idea. It's really important so thank you for announcing this. In addition if you don't want to put a specific gender or feel too uncomfortable to do so simply put they/them or nothing at all. In the end its your choice what you do ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
