Speaking as someone whose parents believed in finding things out for yourself with no cushioning, absolutely not. It is a terrible sensation and there are far better ways of teaching children not to burn themselves or to avoid fire. Even though fire is a beautiful and wonderful creation.   reply

I once got cold burned using deodorant. I went with my arm in a cast for a week or more ... and it hurt damnn. I just don't want to think about burning children who are much more sensitive than us   reply
