That's a normal convo between two persons interested in each other.
Other than this situation, yes it is rude. VERY rude. The heck someone has to do with what you do in your bedroom ?
In real life stuff isn't as simple as tops and bottoms you know, that's all just fiction, so just keep it there.
It is the same level of rude and straight up invasive......
