1.Gentoo penguins know a good pebble when they see one,they scoop dem rocks into their beaks and carry them to their partners it is considered a gift that acknowledges the relationship between the two penguins and helps grow the nest for their budding family.These penguins also mate for life and can even find their old mates within minutes of arriving at the colony each season.
2. Penguins dont have teeth(i think that there might be people who have not seen birds with teeth so ill put that in the comments)
3.Because of the intense fasting involved, the females often seek out chubbier guys who can go weeks without food as the ladies take a turn to hunt for fish.
4.They are waterproof ,penguins spread an oil produced by the preen gland that insulates their bodies.
5.Instead of shuffling across the ice, many penguins like to lay on their stomachs and slide themselves with their feet. It's often a faster way to get around and it's fun.
